Are you detail oriented, highly organized and good at working with a team? The City of Austin is looking for a dynamic Technical Services Librarian to be responsible for the overall management of the cataloging and acquisitions departments. You will also use your public library reference and customer service skills as a member of our information desk team.

DUTIES INCLUDE: The ability to create and maintain an accurate and complete library holdings/bibliographic database, weeding, inventory and collection development in assigned areas.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited college or university or equivalent experience; two years in technical services including original and copy cataloging and classification of all formats of library materials; one year of experience in reference services in a public library. A flexible schedule is required, including evenings and weekends.
