Technical Services Associate

Do you have the library know-how to purchase materials with a large collection budget, and the technical skills to build beautiful spreadsheets? If so, join us at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

We’re looking for a collaborative and technologically savvy individual to perform materials ordering, fund tracking, and related duties to maintain the efficient flow of items through our Technical Services Division.

This person will also assist in promoting and highlighting items in the collection, making it easier for the public to find library materials.  Technical services staff are well organized, able to take initiative, and work collaboratively with staff, vendors, and the public.

This person will be part of our Technical Services (TS) team. Technical services is an eight-person division whose mission ensures the collection (both physical and online) is attractive, findable, and accessible to all customers and library staff.

This position is regularly scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.  The starting wage is $22.92 per hour, with excellent benefits.
