Summary: Resource will work with the Site Management team and UX team to develop the taxonomy of bringing a diverse set of products and services onto one platform. Working with multiple cross-functional teams to understand their needs and ensure all products are consistently and accurately represented.
Responsibilities:
– Developing and implementing the taxonomy strategies and vision, driving execution of roadmaps and project plans to continually improve
– Researching and documenting new terms or edits to existing terminology in keeping with taxonomy architecture and standards.
– Executing and enhancing taxonomy and classification metrics and reporting program elements
– Coordinating with teams to run and analyze surveys, card sorts, and tree tests to inform taxonomy changes
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of Retail or Small Business experience.
– 2+ years taxonomy experience, primarily looking for someone that has experience with a diverse set of products and services.
– Mastery of cataloging, classification, information architecture, and/or knowledge management principles
– Strong research skills and the ability to gather information and metrics to make informed decisions
– Ability to see the big picture and tie vision and strategy into the best long-term customer experience while focusing on lots and lots of small details.
