The Legislative Reference Library is seeking an energetic and talented System Analyst to provide server management, network support, administration of audio and video digital archive, email management and desktop support for the Library. This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours) position. The System Analyst will be part of a team developing innovative library applications and services for the Library and the Legislature. The System Analyst will manage Windows servers, virtual servers, database servers and web servers. The System Analyst will provide network support for the Library in conjunction with other legislative offices. As part of the Library Information Systems team, the System Analyst will provide desktop support and manage the Office 365 and Exchange Online email and calendar systems, including desktop Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.
The Library manages the digital archive of audio and video for the Legislature, the System Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and playability of this archive. As part of the Library team, the System Analyst will work with the Information Systems Manager to provide the Library with an ongoing plan for the Information Systems infrastructure of the Library.
Minimum qualifications: working knowledge of MS-Windows operating systems; working knowledge of local area networks, server software and Active Directory; working knowledge and demonstrated experience working with computer hardware: personal computers, servers, printers and other computer peripherals; working knowledge of network and computer security controls and software; two years of relevant experience demonstrating increasing responsibility and skills. Salary is based on experience; the minimum salary is $54,735.
