MARKETING LIBRARIAN
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Library Management Team, this position develops and implements strategies which increase the community’s awareness of library services and programs. This position coordinates information among the Friends, management, and staff to create a clear and unified identity and voice for the library.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a Master’s Degree in library science
- At least two (2) years of public service experience, or previous library experience
CIVIL SERVICE PROCESS:
- Must provide documentation pertaining to completion of degree as well as work experience.
- Must pass a Civil Service Oral Interview.
- Must pass background check.
- Must pass post-offer physical examination with a drug/alcohol screening.
