General Summary:
The Carleton A. Friday Memorial Library seeks a story-teller: someone who will fill the next chapters of our journey with leadership, dignity, respect and innovation built on a foundation of teamwork and communication. As the lead character of the chapters that follow, your creativity and energy must be focused on cultivating leadership within our dedicated staff while promoting the need for a new library in our capital campaign. Effective communication and problem solving are key attributes for this new character and telling the story is critical.
The pages of our story include a dedicated staff, amazing programming and the opportunity to join a team that is committed to transforming our library one patron at a time. If you aspire to lead, to innovate, to transform, and communicate all with confidence and creativity, we would be excited to see you write future chapters in this amazing book.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must be eligible for Wisconsin Grade I certification within one year of hire. Library experience is preferred, however those with overall management, team building and leadership experience at all levels are strongly encouraged to apply.
