Hours will vary. Shifts include days, evenings and weekends.
The Library Associate is key to creating an exceptional customer experience. Welcomes customers to the library and proactively assists customers through various aspects of using the library. Performs all circulation functions; assists customers with library accounts, including accepting payment; provides basic technology assistance; and performs other duties as required by the needs of service. The Savage Library position works approximately 20 hours per week and the New Prague Library position works 15 hours per week. MQs: Requires equivalency of two years post-secondary education (bachelor’s degree preferred). Preference given to applicants with previous library, customer service, or programming/teaching experience. Must possess a valid class D driver’s license. The incumbent shall provide a reliable means of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities. Hiring Range: $17.37 – $21.72/hr. Closing: 12/4/18.
