Circulation, Interlibrary Loan & User Experience Specialist

Macalester College seeks to hire a Circulation, Interlibrary Loan & User Experience Specialist to support the DeWitt Wallace Library. We invite enthusiastic, service-oriented candidates who would enjoy working in a highly collaborative, creative, and innovative environment.

Core responsibilities for this position include leading overall circulation operations, interlibrary loan lending operations, and user experience (UX) strategies for library service point and building. This individual also co-manages our service desk, co-supervises ~65 student employees, coordinates library-wide student employment support, and serves as liaison to facilities to support day-time building operations and security. This position does require the ability to open the library several days per week. This position reports to the Associate Library Director for Access, Instruction, and Research Services.
