The Marshall-Lyon County Library is accepting applications for an Assistant Librarian specializing in working with children. This position works under the direct supervision of the Director. While mainly working out of the Marshall Library, this position works across Lyon County, working shifts at the Balaton and Cottonwood Libraries as well as doing outreach. The primary work is providing service at an information desk, conducting children’s programs and working with children’s materials. The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong desire to help people of all ages, robust technology skills, a general understanding of public library operations and some flexibility of scheduled hours.
