Youth Services Librarian – Phillips Public Library (WI)

Duties include: Manages Children and Youth Department, serving users ages 0-18. Material selection and children’s collection development, reader’s advisory, children and youth reference, children and youth programming, other duties in the Children’s Department; some front desk service and reference duties, contributing to the library’s online presence. Additional duties as assigned.

Schedule includes occasional evenings and some Saturdays.

Qualifications: Associates Degree or higher required. Experience in children’s services and/or knowledge of history and current trends in children’s library materials preferred.  Computer and Internet skills, customer service for children, and excellent interpersonal skills required.

This position will be open until filled. Starting wage is $12-$14 DOE. This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week, with benefits.
