Temporary Library Clerk 1 – City of Northfield

The City of Northfield is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Library Clerk 1. This position is responsible for customer service in the areas of circulation and technical services support.

This is a temporary position, expected to last six (6) months. Approximately 16-20 hours per week.  Flexible shifts vary in length and includes days, evenings and/or weekends to provide appropriate circulation desk coverage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •High School diploma or any combination of education and/or experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. •One plus years’ progressively responsible library circulation desk experience. •Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software. •Driver’s license is required.

Special Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Fluency in Spanish •Dynix Horizon ILS experience •Post secondary education •Library certification
