THE POSITION
The Anoka County Library has immediate openings for two year-round, 12 hours per week, Temporary Library Shelvers to shelve books and other materials. The initial assignments are at the Johnsville Library in Blaine.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY)
Must be at least 16 years of age, willing to work varied hours (afternoons, evenings and weekends); approximately 12 hours per week. Scheduled days may be subject to change. Knowledge of alphabet and number system and computer experience is necessary. Ability to lift 30 lbs, stand, bend, stoop, reach and carry for extended periods.
Hours – Position #1
Monday 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Thursday 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
e/o Friday 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
e/o Saturday 10:30 am – 5:00 pm
Hours – Position #2
Monday 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Tuesday 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Wednesday 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
