How Will You Make a Difference?
- Conduct online research associated with requests made by firm legal and support staff
- Execution of comprehensive database searches in the firm’s diverse practice and science/technology areas
- Perform research necessary to support business development initiatives through the competitive intelligence program
- Assist with marketing and other strategic plans of the Library & Knowledge Information Systems group
- Assist with evaluation, training and overall expansion of knowledge with intellectual property and legal database resources
What Will You Bring to the Table?
- A Bachelors of Arts or Science
- An MLIS or other relevant advanced degree or certification is highly desirable
- Two to four years work experience in a Library, Intellectual Property and/or Legal setting
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to effective working relationships
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain a high level of mental effort in performing essential duties
- Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys and staff with professionalism, courtesy and tact
