Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in media, or related field and moderate experience working with students, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Successful background check required.
Successful background check required.
Prefer Elementary/Primary classroom experience.

Special Requirements:
Minnesota Teaching License.
Minnesota Media Specialist License, preferred

Skills Needed:
Thorough knowledge of media materials and equipment; thorough knowledge of library operations; thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of District policy; ability to develop and present ideas effectively, orally and in written form; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with librarians, principals, school staff and students. The ability to embed technology while educating young learners.

Specific Tasks:
Provide information and technology literacy skills instruction, to lead, collaborate, and consult with classroom teachers for the purpose of integrating information and technology literacy skills with content teaching, and to administer media center operations, programming, and resources.

7.5 hours per day
7:45 am- 3:45 pm
As per contract, long-term sub position to start approximately 1/25/2019 through approximately 4/22/2019.
