The Nobles County Library is currently accepting applications for the classification of Library Director. This position is responsible for the planning, direction, implementation and management of the Nobles County Library system. We are located 60 miles east of Sioux Falls, SD.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Library and Information Science, or Information Sciences and a minimum of five years of library experience with previous management and supervisory experience is required; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position. A Master’s degree accredited by the American Library Association is preferred. The job requires a valid driver’s license in order to complete work in the community and attend local and regional meetings and appointments.
