Director: Grand Meadow Public Library
Grand Meadow Public Library seeks qualified, friendly Library Director to serve the city of Grand Meadow and surrounding rural community. The Library Director reports to and works closely with the GM Library Board of Trustees to provide high quality library services, manage staff, direct library programming and foster community goodwill in the progressive, active hometown of 1,100. The candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, relate well to the public and library staff, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and use creativity to design library programs. The director will be required to promote community engagement, encourage staff development and team building and oversee facility operations.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 5 years library experience with at least 1 year of supervisor/management experience. Appropriate undergraduate degree preferred, but not required. Hourly wage: $20-22, depending on qualifications.
