Library Director – Cadott Community Library

The Cadott Community Library is accepting applications for a creative, energetic, outgoing, self-motivated, and organized individual to provide leadership, maintain, and enhance library services.

Under the direction of the five-member Library Board of Trustees, the library director develops, administers, supervises, and coordinates the work of the library and staff, performs managerial duties related to personnel, budget, collection development, building maintenance, and library operations and services in compliance with the policies established by the Board of Trustees and the regulations of the State of Wisconsin.  The director will also serve as the Youth Services/Programming Librarian and will develop and implement the library’s program of services for children and adults.

Applicants must be comfortable with computers and technology and be eligible for a Grade 3 Wisconsin Public Library Certification.  This requires at least 54 semester credits from an accredited college or university, half must be in the Liberal Arts and Sciences and the willingness to take courses for the State of Wisconsin certification.

The Library Director works 32 hours a week including evenings.  The wage range is $14 to $18 per hour, depending on qualifications.  Benefits include: accruing sick leave, paid holidays, and paid vacation.
