First Year Student Success Librarian – University of Wisconsin-River Falls

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is recruiting for a First Year Student Success Librarian.

The First Year Student Success Librarian develops and provides library services that support teaching, research, and student success and retention. General responsibilities include: providing library orientation and information literacy instruction to first year student-oriented classes and groups; promoting first-year and transfer student success and retention through collaboration with campus academic and student services programs and offices; serving as a liaison to designated academic departments; providing in-person and online research assistance; overseeing collection development for assigned subject areas; and collaborating with the Head of Research Services and other library colleagues to plan and implement new services to meet the changing needs and expectations of our users. This is a .92FTE Associate Academic Librarian position that is full-time from August 1 to June 30.
