07/28/2022: EVENING SUPERVISOR FOR THE CHARLES C. MYERS LIBRARY
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking an Evening Supervisor for the Charles C. Myers Library.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight and assistance at the Circulation Desk and throughout the building
- Provide reference assistance
- Assist with reference and circulation projects
- Assist with assessment of reference, circulation services and use of the building
- Monitor use of the building and implement safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University’s Mission
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong commitment to service and to the mission of the library and the University
- Familiarity or comfort using library resources and doing research is preferred
- Ability to work independently and supervisor college students
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Excellent computer skills
This is a 12 hour per week position during the fall and spring semester (when classes are in session), Monday-Thursday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
