Document Coordinator II

OBJECTIVES:
• Responsible for preparing, processing, maintenance, and record management of high quality GxP documentation in both a paper-based system and an Electronic Documentation Management System (EDMS) with minimal supervision.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Demonstrates an understanding of control process and procedures, including electronic and hard copy format
• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but has the ability to recognize and initiate resolution when deviations from accepted practice have occurred
• Required to work on problems of moderate scope in which analysis of a situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors
• Maintains controlled documents and records by updating logs, databases, and catalogues
• Coordinates the review and revision of procedures, specifications, and forms that will be delivered to customers to ensure they are well written and professional
• Indexes/inventories documents for on and off site storage
• Requires strong attention to detail to ensure accurate information is provided throughout the organization
• Expected to have strong verbal and written communication skills including advanced grammar, punctuation and syntax
• Assists with documentation/records needs during audits/due diligence and/or teams
• Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Requires a minimum of 2-5 years related experience
• Degree in Records Management, Library Science or Management Information Systems desirable, but not required
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment desirable, but not required
• Experience in GxP Document Control (Quality Systems) highly desirable, but not required. Other GxP experience writing documents in any EDMS will be considered
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Applications (Word and Excel), including strong document editing and formatting abilities
• Must have experience with Adobe Acrobat and electronic databases
• Must be computer savvy; proven ability to navigate, conduct searches, and complete online forms for the purposes of training, performance management, and self-service applications
