Director, Plum Creek Library System. Plum Creek is a federated library system serving nine counties in southwest Minnesota. The System’s 21 independent public libraries provide a rich variety of services to the region’s 116,000 residents and the successful candidate will work with a talented group of library
directors and staff to develop an evolving program of collaborative programs. The position requires a Master’s Degree from an institution accredited by the American Library Association and a minimum of two years of public library administrative experience, with five years preferred. The Director answers to
a 21-member board and provides services in coordination with a staff of 6 FTEs. Salary range $68,099 – $84,947, dependent upon qualifications, with a generous vacation and benefit package.
