Community Resources Specialist – L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library (WI)

COMMUNITY RESOURCES SPECIALIST
The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is seeking an outgoing, collaborative, and experienced social worker to join our team to serve as the library’s Community Resources Specialist. This new position requires creative problem-solving skills to help improve life circumstances for library customers experiencing homelessness, and the ability to operate out of a mental health and trauma-informed lens. Duties include connecting library visitors with community homelessness service providers; building trust with library clientele; educating library staff on
homelessness, mental health and addictions; and partnering with community leaders on a system wide collaborative approach to homelessness.

This is a full-time position. The 2019 hiring salary starts at $23.79 per hour, with excellent benefits, including health insurance, and support for professional activities.
