Primary Duties:
The Circulation Assistant will be responsible for providing effective and efficient operation of the circulation, interlibrary loan, loose-leaf filing, reserve, and shelving functions within the library. This position will provide assistance to patrons and will include: responding to patrons requests; checking materials in and out; assisting students with copying or printing needs; filing; coordinating the re-shelving of materials; and other office duties as needed.

Experience:
Qualifications: associates degree (bachelor’s degree preferred); 1-3 years direct customer service experience; detail oriented; and ability to consistently maintain excellent customer service standards, work effectively in a busy public workspace, juggle multiple tasks, and work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team. Flexibility to handle frequent schedule changes to meet the business needs of the library. Individuals currently enrolled in a Library Science degree program are encouraged to apply.
