Branch Librarian II – Mora Library

Branch Librarian II, Mora Library, 40 hours per week:

East Central Regional Library (ECRL) has a vacancy for the position of Branch Librarian II to oversee the operation of a medium-large branch library in Mora, MN. This position is for 40 hours per week. ECRL is a consolidated regional library system with 14 branches. A Bachelor’s Degree, up to date technology skills and three years related experience is required. MLS/MLIS or similar library certification or advanced library training is preferred. Candidates must have demonstrated creativity and vision to provide modern public library service; ability and willingness to work independently; above average communication skills; excellent customer service skills; and the ability and willingness to lead a library team of staff and volunteers. Salary range is $16.15 – 22.09 per hour with paid health insurance, PTO and PERA. Review of applications begins November 13, 2017 and continues until filled. The Mora Public Library is located in Mora, MN (Kanabec County) about 70 miles north of Minneapolis on Highway 65. The branch is open 6 days per week, Monday – Saturday, for a total of 42.5 hours per week. The Branch Librarian is employed for 40 hours per week and supervises three Branch Assistants. Branch service statistics for 2016 recorded an average of 3,300 visitors and 4,100 checkouts per month. Wyoming ranks 5th of the 14 branches in ECRL service statistics.
