Presentation Title & Description:
I would love to share my creative side with you. I’ve spoken to small and large groups on how graphic novels are created, led character design and comic creation workshops, and have even given some one on one art training.
I’ve presented to all ages K-5, Middle and High School, and with 23 years of teaching experience behind me, I fell really comfortable in front of any student group.
My most general presentations begin with me talking about how I got into comics before jumping into how I make comics. I usually end with a drawing presentation. I use a lot of visuals and my intention is to have every person attending realize how important their own voice is and how badly we need a wide variety of voices and representation in the world.
