Presentations
There are usually good reasons why we search out a particular author or reread a book. With the class I discuss these reasons and together we develop a strong believable character, analyze the point-of-view of that character, and talk about how action can move the plot along with exciting twists and turns. We explore historical fiction since it is through active history that young readers can live and breathe a different era. They can experience a march through the hills of Virginia and sense fear as they approach the Bull Run far from home. I enjoy sharing my writing experiences with drafts, galleys and the challenges of the publishing world.
