Highlights/Bio:
Cheryl Blackford is insatiably curious about the world and writes children’s books that reflect that curiosity. She is especially interested in engaging children with nature and encouraging them to develop their own curiosity. Cheryl earned a degree in Geology and taught elementary school in England before moving to the US. When she’s not writing children’s books, Cheryl enjoys hiking, gardening, eating, and reading.

Presentation Title & Description: 
Cheryl Blackford has presented at schools, colleges, book festivals and educator conferences. She will tailor her presentations and workshops to your needs but typical examples are: “The author’s journey: The path from a childhood love of reading to a published book” and “Research, writing and revision: A discussion of the research and writing process with a focus on revision.”
